The Yukon Permanent Art Collection provides Yukoners and visitors with an opportunity to experience our cultural legacy as it is expressed through the visual arts, and contributes to the professional development and economic well-being of Yukon artists.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 Call for Submissions has been temporarily modified to be 100% dedicated to Yukon artists. This change is meant to better support artists who live and create work in Yukon in this time of lost revenue and uncertainty. We are looking for work that demonstrates exceptional skill, innovation, originality and vision.
Yukon residents of all backgrounds, at any stage of their creative paths and from all communities are invited to apply. This includes and is not limited to Indigenous, Black, and racialized people; refugees, newcomers and immigrants; LGBTQ+, two-spirit and gender non-binary people; people with (dis)abilities; and those with low-incomes or living in poverty.
If there are any barriers or challenges to applying, please contact us so we can find a solution.
