The 2018 call for submissions for the Yukon Permanent Art Collection is now OPEN.

The Yukon Permanent Art Collection provides Yukoners and visitors with an opportunity to experience our cultural legacy as it is expressed through the visual arts, and contributes to the professional development and economic well-being of Yukon artists.
This year, the Friends of Yukon Permanent Art Collection Society and the Government of Yukon are pleased to announce a focused call for submissions. In an effort to develop specific areas of the collection, we are inviting artists creating relief and three-dimensional work to submit original works of art for consideration.
What is eligible? Relief and three-dimensional works including, but not limited to:
- Traditional and contemporary tufting, birch bark, fish scale and quill work
- Fine craft including jewelry, ceramics, and pottery
- Traditional sewing and beading
- Sculpture (wood, metal, mixed media, stone, etc.
We are looking for work that demonstrates exceptional skill, innovation, originality and vision. Artists at any stage of their careers and from all communities are invited to apply. Please spread the word and help to build a Yukon Permanent Art Collection representative of the art practice here!
