The Yukon Permanent Art Collection provides Yukoners and visitors with an opportunity to experience our cultural legacy as it is expressed through the visual arts, and contributes to the professional development and economic well-being of Yukon artists.
We are looking for work that demonstrates exceptional skill, innovation, originality and vision.
The Friends of Yukon Permanent Art Collection can spend up to $60,000 on new artwork for the collection annually.
Artists of all backgrounds, at any stage of their creative paths and from all communities are invited to apply. This includes and is not limited to Indigenous, Black, and racialized people; refugees, newcomers and immigrants; LGBTQ+, Two-Spirit and non-binary people; people with disabilities; and those with low-incomes or living in poverty.
